Welcome to The Wyoming County Chorale
The Wyoming County Chorale, based in Tunkhannock, PA, is comprised of community members who share a love for singing. The Chorale presents two formal concerts each year (spring and fall), plus occasional community performances. We welcome singers of all skill levels - no previous experience necessary.

At the Wyoming County Chorale, we aim to enrich the community through music. Our volunteer chorus brings together individuals who share a passion for singing and performing diverse musical genres.
Our Chorale
Our Chorale is made up of passionate volunteer music lovers who are dedicated to sharing thier talents and love for music with our community. Bringing together a wide range of musical backgrounds to raise their voices in harmony our members delight in each opportunity for performance.
Musical Director, Doreen Ignatovich
Doreen Ignatovich is in her fifth year as Musical Director of the Wyoming County Chorale. “I am so grateful to be welcoming new and returning members to the Chorale this season. There is not much that can compare to the joy of working with a community ensemble made up of caring people who share their enthusiasm and love for music with each other and our community.”
Doreen Ignatovich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education with a concentration in Instrumental Music from Mansfield University and has continued her studies on the graduate level at Marywood University in Church Music, Vocal, and Choral studies and through numerous workshops, seminars, conferences and classes in a variety of music related topics. Doreen accepted the position as Musical Director for the Wyoming County Chorale in the Fall of 2022. She is also is currently the Director of the Crystal Band of Scranton, an all-volunteer community band; a position she has held for the past 19 years. For many years Doreen taught instrumental and classroom music in public and private schools in Lackawanna and Luzerne counties to students in grades Pre-K to 12 during which time she also served as a Church Choir Director. Since 1981 she has been a private music instructor in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area specializing in French Horn and piano and has performed local as a free lance French Hornist. She has served as the Musical Director for the Kirby Kidz (Musical Theatre program co-sponsored by The Harris Conservatory for the Arts and the F.M.Kirby Center for the Performing Arts) – both the Kids Cast and the Juniors Cast for 13 years – 20+ musically fun-filled shows! Doreen is the owner and musical instructor of Ripple Effect Music Studio located in the Harris Conservatory for the Arts where she offers private and group instruction in voice, piano, and all band & orchestral string instruments in person and virtually. Doreen grew up in a very musically active family, raised her own family with her musically talented husband Mark in an atmosphere of music and loves welcoming more choir members, band members, and students every year into her extended musical family!
Harrison Ingemarson, Accompanist
Harrison Ingemarson is a composer, orchestrator, arranger, pianist, conductor, and sound engineer. He first sarted playing piano and composing original compositions at the age of ten and has since acquired a Bachelor's Degree in Music Composition from Five Towns College. He now resides in NEPA as an independent musical contractor. He has composed original scores for numerous fillms and has performed piaon at the Performing Arts Institute at the Wyoming Seminary, Marywood University, Misericordia University, and others for various productions including "Sweeney Todd," "Next to Normal," "Songs for a New World," and the PMEA District 9 Chorus Festival.
